The End of the Yukon Territory ....... Alaska Here We Come

Let me start off this section by saying how impressed we were with Canada's beauty....it is truly a majestic and and wonderful place to visit. Here's some more of it's beauty as we leave Teslin with John and Jane heading for Whitehorse.
Along the way we stopped at a beautiful little bay, McClintock Bay....
We stayed two nights at Whitehorse....did some shopping, wondered around the town, had a great late lunch/dinner at Earl's on the river and caught yet another beautiful midnight sunset. (It's still a little hard to getting use to the sun setting at midnight.)
Moving on down the road to Beaver Creek with a stop in Haines Junction to get fuel and to check out the animal monument. Along the way we stopped to check out Canyon Creek Bridge and Kluane Lake.
We got a campsite in Beaver Creek then headed over to the local restaurant for dinner. John, Alan, and I had the stew which was fashioned after the stew they fed the workers on the Great Alaskan Hwy.
Off the next morning for the final part of the Alaskan Hwy in the Yukon Territory. It was the roughest and dirtiest part of the whole hwy. There were several parts that were just gravel or dirt and lots of frost heaves and damaged road. The truck and trailer got pretty dirty along the way.
Finally we made it to the Alaska border........................
