Barra de Navidad to Zihuatanejo

Left Barra de Navidad on New Years Day after an evening of good friends, drinks, and of course, food! We waited for our last fix from the "French Baker" then followed SV Overheated and SV Aquarius out of the Barra Lagoon. It was a motor boat ride to Santiago Bay, but it seems there's always something happening out there to see it you watch close. When we got to Santiago bay we couldn’t believe how busy it was. Only a couple of boats anchored but since it was still the holiday week there were tons of people on the shore which equals lots of jet skies, banana boats, water skiers, and even an airplane joined in the deluge. We decided enough of this and Alan dove the boat to clean the bottom and by 11:00 p.m. on Thursday we left Santiago and headed for Zihuatanejo. We had a motor boat ride down and arrived Sat. morning around 8:00 a.m. Having a few problems with the dinghy outboard motor, but parts are coming. We’re looking forward to having Brother John and Stephanie come down and also their friends and neighbors, Tony and Sue.

Barra de Navidad Lagoon.....

Dolphins are always so fun to watch, we never grow tired of them.

Santiago Bay was crazy............we even had airplanes buzzing us!!!!

Back in one of our favorite places, Zihuatanejo..........
