Wonderful 60th Birthday

Well I won't forget my 60th birthday party.......31 kids, 6 adults, pizza, cake and swimming, what a nice day.

Since I couldn't be with my own family and grandkids we thought it would be fun to have all of the kids from Jani's English Beach School over to the pool for the day. Collette was very helpful in picking up all the kids from the island and bringing them over in her ponga. (Murray took them all home...thx guys) Once they got there they were shy as usual. It took some coaxing but finally we got the guys in the water......
Then after that we couldn't keep everyone OUT of the pool, even when it was time to go.....

Jani was a great help organizing and helping to keep track of all the kids. I received a very special present....an official "Jan's English Beach School" embroidered polo shirt and a card signed by all the kids....Thanks kids and espcially Jani.

After the best pizza in El Salvador, thanks to Martin the wonderful chief at the hotel, it was time for cake. Miguel, the fun and always helpful head waiter, helped us serve it up.
Thank you Agustine (L), restaurant manager, and Miguel (R) for all you help.
It was a memorable day....a 60th Birthday I will never forget....Thanks to everyone.

Happy 60, we remember when we were so young. We'll be back in Santa Rosalia in a few more days.
